Laurel Lakes Homes For Sale

Laurel Lakes is a single family residential neighborhood located on Palmer Road and Iona Rd. in Sarasota Florida, The homes for sale in Laurel Lakes have tile roofs and a minimun of 2000 square feet. The community was developed in the early 90′s and was originally named Barton Farms. A homebuyer would buy their lot of choice then choose from 5 local builders in the community to build their custom home.  Those days are pretty much over now that builders control the release of homesite’s in a strategic marketing release system.

The original builders were Coachmen Homes, Peterson Homes, Jade Homes, Kemick Construction and Eslinger Homes. Lennar Homes / US Home of Sarasota started building their homes in Laurel Lakes in 2001. As a new home sales representative with Builders Marketing Group, I personally sold 18 homesites in Laurel Lakes in 2000 and I love this community.

Laurel Lakes Features

Large lakes has a large community clubhouse that the residents get to use with a fitness facility, kitchen and banquet hall on the premisis.  The residents enjoy two beautiful tennis courts . Sarasota County piped in reclaimed water for irrigation since the development was built in 1997. There is natural gas used in the majority of homes and as of July 2008, a new Publix shopping center was built 1/2 mile down the road from this beautiful community.  It’s just a short bike or walk away from Rothenbach park located across the street from the new Publix located on Bee Ridge Road.
